Customs is where shipments actually stop. A misclassified HS code, a certificate of origin on the wrong form, a valuation the officer disputes — any one of them turns a two-day clearance into a two-week storage bill. FASTPORT prepares and transmits declarations on the VNACCS/VCIS system under your written power of attorney, so the person who answers a customs query is the person who filed the entry.
We work on both directions of trade, for first-time importers as well as manufacturers running daily declarations, and we will tell you the landed cost before you sign the purchase order rather than after the container has arrived.

Frequently asked questions
How long does customs clearance take in Vietnam?
A green-channel declaration with complete documents is normally released the same day. Yellow channel means a document check and usually adds a day. Red channel involves a physical inspection and takes two to four days depending on the terminal and the commodity.
What happens if the HS code is wrong?
You risk a duty reassessment, a penalty, and delay while the declaration is amended. We classify before shipment, cite the tariff heading we rely on, and where the commodity is genuinely borderline we recommend applying in advance for a binding classification ruling from the customs authority.
Can you clear goods if I do not have an import licence yet?
We will tell you at quotation stage whether your commodity needs one, which authority issues it and how long it takes. We cannot clear regulated goods without it, but we can arrange bonded storage while the licence is issued rather than accruing demurrage.
