Logistics services

Everything an importer or exporter needs to move cargo through Vietnam, delivered by one team under one contract.

01 On the record

Inland & cross-border trucking

Most freight problems in Vietnam happen on the road, not on the water: a truck that misses the terminal cut-off, a border queue at Huu Nghi that nobody warned you about, a delivery address a 40-foot trailer cannot physically reach. FASTPORT works through a vetted carrier network across the country and plans the road leg as part of the shipment rather than as an afterthought.

  • Vehicle types from 1.5-tonne vans to 40′ trailers and low-beds
  • GPS-tracked vehicles, with the driver’s contact number shared on request
  • Site survey for difficult delivery addresses before the truck is dispatched

Warehousing & distribution

Warehousing earns its cost when it absorbs volatility — a supplier who ships early, a customer who orders late, a container that must be stripped before the free time expires. FASTPORT arranges general and licensed bonded storage in the Ho Chi Minh City and Hai Phong areas, with a proper inventory system behind it, so you know what is on the rack rather than what should be.

  • Storage charged by pallet position or square metre, whichever suits your profile
  • Value-added services: labelling, barcoding, shrink-wrapping, carton re-packing
  • Quality and quantity inspection on receipt, with photo reporting

Customs clearance

Customs is where shipments actually stop. A misclassified HS code, a certificate of origin on the wrong form, a valuation the officer disputes — any one of them turns a two-day clearance into a two-week storage bill. FASTPORT prepares and transmits declarations on the VNACCS/VCIS system under your written power of attorney, so the person who answers a customs query is the person who filed the entry.

  • Landed-cost estimate before you commit to a purchase order
  • Post-clearance audit support and amended declarations where needed
  • Bonded warehouse, temporary import and re-export procedures

Sea freight

Ocean freight is still where most Vietnamese trade moves, and it is where a forwarder either saves you money or quietly costs you a fortnight. FASTPORT holds contracted space with the main carriers calling Southern and Northern Vietnam, so your booking is confirmed against an allocation rather than sold on the spot market when rates spike.

  • Booking confirmation with a named vessel and cut-off, not a "next available sailing"
  • All local charges — THC, seal, telex release, D/O — quoted before you book
  • Standard free time stated in the quotation, and an extension requested from the carrier before the box lands, not after
Main leg

Air freight

Air freight is the answer to a production delay, a seasonal deadline or a customer who will cancel the order. FASTPORT books directly with the carriers and consolidators operating out of Tan Son Nhat (SGN) and Noi Bai (HAN), which means real capacity during peak season rather than a rate that quietly gets re-quoted after you have committed.

  • Chargeable weight calculated and explained before you book — no surprises at the terminal
  • Airline booking references shared so you can track independently
  • Consolidation from multiple suppliers into one air waybill

Project & oversized cargo

A transformer, a press line, a wind-turbine section — these move on the strength of the survey, not the rate sheet. Before we quote a project shipment, we measure the cargo, walk the route, check every bridge and overhead line, and confirm which permits the provincial authorities will actually issue and how long they take.

  • Written method statement and risk assessment before the cargo moves
  • Single project manager accountable from survey to sign-off
  • All-risk marine cargo cover arranged for the declared value; erection and site risks coordinated with the project’s own policy
